About Our Practice

Assiniboine Dental Group served its first patient in 1966. It started as a group practice with five dentists and presently employs nine full time dentists and two part time practitioners. Two of the founding dentists retired in the 1980's and our newest dentist graduated and began practicing at Assiniboine Dental Group in 1996. The eleven dentists within our group have a broad range of expertise and skills, and can therefore provide the full range of dental services. This means that very few of our patients have to be referred elsewhere for specialized care.

Since its inception, the Group has had a heavy emphasis on preventive dental services. Presently, our staff of dental hygienists number sixteen full and part time employees. We also employ twelve full and part time dental assistants. All of our auxiliary personnel have formal training. This allows us to readily service the preventive needs of our patients in a timely fashion.

Recent computer enhancements allow us to track each patient's due dates for cleaning and check up, as well as produce an automated insurance form for patients who have dental insurance coverage. We also offer Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) for those patients whose plan allows us to send the insurance information electronically.
